Glen Eyrie Castle - Colorado Springs, CO

On the road again …

Well, here we go again. I’m leaving again for one of the most beautiful places on earth: Glen Eyrie.

I’m so spoiled. I went up there (with three awesome ladies) over Memorial Day because the writing workshop June 10-13 keeps us so busy we can’t enjoy the grounds. So over Memorial Day, we enjoyed the grounds; now we’re going back to write our fingers to the bone. Half the time we don’t even get free time because we have writing assignments in the evenings. Fortunately, it’s tons of fun!

In any case, I wanted to let everyone know that devos may be a little later in coming than normal next week, but I’ll still be doing them. They’re so good for me!! I don’t know if any of my random, rambling thoughts make any sense to anyone else, but they sure help me stay on target for the day.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Safe and sound

Just an update. We made it safe and sound to Glen Eyrie, and at the moment we are settled into our room. I just love this place. I may do a post tomorrow.

We made it safe and sound. Have a nice evening, everyone! And a safe Memorial Day Weekend!

Hitting the road

Hey, guys! I just wanted to shoot out a quick little blurb. I will try to have a post up tomorrow morning, but I’m going to be on the road to this phenomenal place:

I will be going back in June for a writing workshop, but that keeps me so busy I don’t have time to enjoy the awesomeness that is Glen Eyrie. So this year, a bunch of my favorite people and I get to go up a little early.

I will be replenishing my store of photographs too. =)

I fully intend to keep posting, but in case they come a little later over the next few days, now you’ll know why.

Thank you all for reading and for all the encouragement you bring to me!

Home again, home again

Hey, everyone! Just a short note to let you know that the Colonel and I made it back to Wichita safe and sound. The trip home was pretty much uneventful as well (even though Colonel will tell you that I tried to get us lost in the Houston airport . . . but we all know that he just makes that stuff up).

It was a great trip, and I have hundreds of pictures and many many pages of journal stuff to upload.

Thanks for your prayers. I will fill you all in on the trip as soon as possible!

On the road to Guatemala

The Colonel and I leave for Guatemala at 6:30 a.m. We’ll be back in a week. Please pray for us while we’re gone that God will do something spectacular.

I probably won’t be able to update the blog on any consistent basis so I recommend checking in with Jim and Shelley’s site to see what kind of international incidents the Colonel and I cause . . .

I promise a journal when I get back!
