Welcome to AlwaysPeachy Devotionals, a daily blog on a verse or passage from the Bible that means something to me today. I started writing this devotional blog on a regular basis in 2011, when the stress at my job began to make me lose focus on the things that matter. I wrote the posts for me and me alone because they helped me get my head on straight every morning.
But some friends got a hold of them and encouraged me (repeatedly) to make them available to everyone. So I did. And AlwaysPeachy.com was born.
When I was in high school, a couple of kids in my graduating class started answering the standard, “How are you doing?” with a simple, “I’m peachy.” And for some of us, that simple response took on a life of it’s own. For us, “I’m peachy” was more than a flippant response. And it wasn’t sarcastic either. Because to us, being peachy meant that even if life wasn’t perfect, we were still better than okay. Because God still had a plan, and we still trusted Him.
So that was us then. And this is me now. I’m not just peachy. I’m always peachy.
